OUR FEES

We assess each project on its own merit after reviewing all necessary drawings and information. We will then issue a formal quotation.

But to give you an idea, below is a basic cost for a typical domestic rear extension (exclusive of VAT).

Serving of Notice

(Per Adjoining Owner Including land registry checks)

We will carefully check your project, identify what Notices need to be served and conduct a Land Registry search to identify the owners. We then prepare the Notices and either send them to you to serve, or serve them directly on your behalf.

£50

Building Owners Surveyor

Including Schedule of Condition and Award per Adjoining Owner.

£800

Agreed Surveyor

Including Schedule of Condition and Award per Adjoining property

£1000

Adjoining Owners Surveyor

We would allow for approximately 8 hours to resolve matters related to a small domestic scheme.

£120 p/h

Schedule of Services

(per adjoining property)

If a neighbour agrees to consent, we would still recommend a Schedule of Condition is undertaken. A survey of the likely areas of the adjoining property to be affected by the works will be carried out. A photographic and written report of the condition will be produced. The written report will be issued to both parties whilst the photos will be stored until they are required.

£450

PLEASE NOTE

The appointment of a Party Wall Surveyor is a statutory appointment which means we are not employed and do not have a contract with the Owner. The expenses for the works carried out will be written into the Award and payable once it is served.
